One of them is the director’s office. The walls of the office have been painted by the famous Lithuanian artist and native of the region Stasys Eidrigevičius, who visited the library more than once. You can view these drawings during the annual Museum Night, when the library opens normally closed spaces to visitors. The library also stores a vast collection of Stasys Eidrigevičius’s publications, more than 450 copies—these are posters, postcards with the artist’s reproductions, illustrated books, and exhibition catalogs.
You can access the Individual and Group Workspace by booking it. It is intended for both group meetings and individual work. It has 8 workstations, 2 computers, a projector, and a whiteboard. This service is available only to registered library users, and a time can be reserved for up to 4 hours, with the possibility of extending the usage time by individual arrangement.
We also have a few spaces outside the library that are worth no less attention.
The Juozas Miltinis Memorial Apartment (Algirdo St. 54-19) belongs to the library. Here we store the collections of the director Juozas Miltinis, which are recognized as a collection of national importance and are included in the Lithuanian National Register of the UNESCO program “Memory of the World”.
This is the authentic home space of the legendary 20 th -century director Juozas Miltinis, where unique documentary and historical material is stored.
