The renovated department was opened in 2024. There are separate spaces for families with children and young people. The smallest ones with their parents are able to spend their free time not only reading, but also playing sensory, interactive games. For older children – a tree of knowledge, an interactive house with various educational games. For young people, there are sensory and discovery spaces for constructing, working with a computer or engaging in other pleasant activities.

There is a modern event hall, a professional sound recording studio and an outdoor bookshelf.

Visitors have not only a carefully formed collection of publications, but also an innovative loan-return system that allows them to easily pick up books on their own.

Department of cultural education for children and youth is a place where school students, teachers and everyone interested in literature for children can find something useful.
