All libraries of the region will be involved in joint project activities, the professional development of adult educators will be carried out in a targeted manner, and unified goals of adult education in the region will be pursued. Three mobility programs are planned for one year, each of which will be attended by 10-15 adult education specialists selected through a competition. One area of interest will be selected each year, in which the competences of adult education professionals will be improved by raising their qualifications in advanced adult education organizations abroad.

Expected result of the project

After each mobility, participating librarians will develop training / educational programs and test them with target groups in their libraries. Based on the experience of foreign libraries, librarians-adult educators in Panevėžys region will learn to properly prepare training programs for remote environment.

A coherent strategy for adult education in Panevėžys region will be developed and implemented. By networking, adult educators in the region will enhance their professional skills, share experiences, and collaborate in the development of adult education / training programs.

The public libraries in the region will attract more adult visitors who are not currently users of library services. The experience gained during the mobility programs as well as learning the needs of the current or potential library users will allow adult educators to develop programs that realistically meet the expectations of those who could profit from adult education and training programs.
