Martynas Mažvydas National Library is carrying out the modernisation process of Lithuanian libraries’ information database (LIBIS). Due to data transfer from an old to a new system, some technical interruptions are expected and the libraries will provide limited services during this period.
14 July books will NOT be issued or taken back. On this day none of the services related to borrowing or returning books will be provided. Library’s visitors will be able to use reading rooms, visit exhibitions and events. Children and Youth educational centre will be closed.
9–11 July the website ibibioteka.lt will not be accessible. If you want to reserve a book, register as a reader etc. you will have to contact the library directly by email abonementas@pavb.lt or phone (8 45) 46 54 97. Contact Children and Youth educational centre by email vaikai@pavb.lt or phone 8 45) 43 56 77.
9–13 July None of the services related to registering readers or handling their information will be provided. Starting with 12 July registered users will be directed to a renewed ibiblioteka.lt website.
